Explore standard IOCE reference data and NCCI code pair edits.

IOCE Data Viewer¶

The IOCE Data Viewer allows you to browse the standard reference tables used by the Integrated Outpatient Code Editor (IOCE). These tables contain critical payment and editing logic, such as APC classifications, HCPCS codes, and status indicators.

Accessing the Viewer¶

Navigate to Code Reference → IOCE Data in the dashboard.

Browsing Tables¶

1. Select a Table: Use the dropdown menu to choose a specific IOCE table (e.g., "APC Status Indicators", "HCPCS to APC").
2. Filter Data: Use the search bar or column filters to find specific entries.
3. View Details: Some tables allow you to expand rows for more detailed information.

NCCI Code Pairs¶

The NCCI Code Pairs viewer provides a searchable interface for the National Correct Coding Initiative (NCCI) Procedure-to-Procedure (PTP) edits. These edits prevent improper payment when incorrect code combinations are reported.

Accessing the Viewer¶

Navigate to Code Reference → NCCI PTP Edits

Searching Edits¶

You can search for edits by: - Column 1 Code - Column 2 Code - Effective Date: Filter by when the edit was active.

The viewer displays the edit rationale and whether a modifier is allowed to bypass the edit.
